1.Washing Unit in Sweet Potato Starch Processing Plant :

Washing effect: Mainly to clean sweet potato outer epidermis stained with mud, and wash to remove sweet potato root epidermis.

Our rotary cleaning machine, its structure is horizontal cylinder, with coarse washing area (including the drainage hole), bathing area, net washing area (including the drainage hole), spray nozzle, rifle, stirring rod, etc. It depends on the motor drive gear rotating cylinder, with water as medium spraying, washing, plunge grinding to remove sediment and potato skins. The washing requirement is: remove sediment clean, peel requirements above 80%.

2. Crushing Unit in Sweet Potato Starch Processing Plant:

What is potato starch extraction process in potato starch plant ?

Potato starch production is an isolation of potato starch from fresh potato. It takes place in potato starch  plant. Starch industry is a part of food processing which is using starch as a starting material for production of starch derivatives, hydrolysates, dextrins.

The potato starch extraction process comprises the steps such as delivery and unloading potatoes, cleaning, rasping of tubers, potato juice separation, starch extraction, starch milk rafination, de-watering of refined starch milk and starch drying.

1. Delivery and unloading potatoes in potato starch plant

Fresh potatoes are delivered to the starch plants via road or rail transport. Unloading of potatoes could be done in two ways:

Coarsely cleaning of potatoes takes place during the transport of potatoes to the scrubber by channel.

Wheat starch production process  in wheat starch plant description : 

The wheat starch production process in wheat starch plant is martin process . The wheat starch production process include : Dough making and washing , Gluten screening and  drying ; The separation of A-starch and B-starch ; A-starch refining and drying ; B-starch refining and drying . 

(1) . Dough making and washing in wheat starch plant :  
 Wheat flour is mixed with  water to form dough.  Wait for some time let the gluten formed , then use fresh water to wash the dough , the purpose  is to wash out starch inside the dough. After washing 4~5 times ,  gluten and starch are separated .

(2) . Gluten screening and  drying  in wheat starch plant:
 Gluten after screening will be de-watered, dried and finally get  product vital gluten powder.

(3)The separation of A-starch and B-starch  in wheat starch plant
After the mixture below the flat screen enters Centrifuge Sieve to remove fiber, they enter into nozzle separator to separate A-starch milk and B-starch milk.

(4) A-starch refining and drying  in wheat starch plant :
 A-starch milk is further concentrated in cyclone, de-watered and dried to powder form  of final product A-starch.

5) B-starch refining and drying  in wheat starch plant : 
B-starch milk is concentrated separately through nozzle separator and decanter, and dried in flash dryer to powder form of final product B-starch.
